Accelerating the Transition
A National Climate Conference On Removing Barriers to a Fast, Clean-Energy Transition
Join us for a national gathering to advance clean energy and protect our climate, ensuring a healthy, prosperous future for all—before time runs out.
ACCELERATING THE TRANSITION
ACCELERATING THE TRANSITION
A healthy and prosperous future, powered entirely by clean energy is possible: A planet with a safe climate and a healthy atmosphere. With clean air and clean water. With vibrant ecosystems. With thriving communities fairly sharing in all the benefits of a clean economy.
But time is running out to protect humanity from the ravages of climate change.
We are therefore convening a national gathering devoted to protecting and extending past gains in clean energy and energy efficiency. We invite all people of goodwill to further these efforts independently, and to join in our event, remotely or, if possible, in person.

Despite Federal funding cuts and curtailment of clean energy incentives, the potential for clean, sustainable energy and energy efficiency to save money, the environment, public health, and biodiversity is vast and still largely untapped. To promote and realize that potential, a unique conference, Accelerating the Transition, will be held April 18-20, 2026. The kickoff event of San Francisco Climate Week, Accelerating the Transition will be an important national gathering of clean-energy and climate-protection thought-leaders, strategists, energy and climate experts, and doers. The two-and-a-half-day conference will help advance the clean energy transition and ensure that its momentum is not lost because of federal funding cuts. Accelerating the Transition will catalyze public-private partnerships that will benefit local government, clean tech businesses, and help environmental and climate groups develop a clear, coherent message to the American people. If you care about humanity’s future and want to be part of the transition to clean energy, join us for this extraordinary event.
